I wonder, what became
Of you.
I wonder, what love could be
As true,
As you and I shared,
In the end was false.
I wonder, if you
Were afraid.
I wonder, about words
You've said.
What was it I believed,
How does it serve me now?
I wonder, why it is
We are.
I wonder, how we bare
Our scars.
Or is it all just a lie,
Simply, so we can ask why?
