Love II

He saw thee the first and was struck,
Held both tongue and heart inside,
Careful to be not careless to speak out,
To ruin not the moment of first sight,
And since then, oh fateful night,
He speaks not the heart, tho' sees
Which thee cannot seem to hide,
In a touch, in a brush,
By presence alone, next to his,
A certain leaning, he is gleaning
That thee too had falen prey that night
Thy eyes met, thine hearts crossed,
The same path thee both before have lost,
No more can give in to its trust,
What now love, what must?
