We are two, thee and I,
Our souls fated, in the other mated,
Within the stillful night,
To be together, if only for a brief
Moment in our lives,
For a night must fade
When a Sun's remade
Light upon this earth and sky -
In a night, we stood upon,
Together, seemed to be as one,
Until the moment said goodbye,
And as the years go,
The one thing I will know,
Would not forget, all the while,
Oh, the moment, I saw thee smile.
