Who I Am, Who You Are

Who am I, who are you?
These many years gone past,
Just a breath, that would not last,
Seems too soon gone, too slow come,
A year of tears, of laughter, of both,
So much complete, so much left undone,
Waiting, seeking, seems always leaving,
One or another behind, a part of the past,
Some day again, will hold,
In a reminiscent story told,
As if then was now, and not all is gone,
That more is yet to come,
Tho' slowly fleeting, memories fading,
We leave what's done, be done,
And distance grows, the miles not far,
To wonder as the years seem to go, will this be
Who I am, who you are?
